Upgraded Restrooms after Water and Mold Damage

The restroom of this commercial building in Dallas, TX needed to have all the tiles removed because of bound water sitting behind the wall. The main problem is from the metal studs which, unlike wood, do not soak up the water but creates pools. The water evaporates slowly in the wall cavity raising the humidity and causing mold to begin to grow.

Water Damage Leaves Smelly Mold Behind

Removing the old tiles sounds like easy work, but when there is mold it needs to be removed more delicately. The new restroom looks great and the tiles were upgraded from the small squares to a more modern look.
