Fire & Water - Cleanup & Restoration

Flooding can bring in debris from the outdoors

Too much water in your home will not be easy to remove after flooding. Although flood water will recede over time, the best way is to have the water removed is with a trash pump. A pump will have a wire mesh around it to keep the debris from being sucked up. However, the left-over debris should be cleaned up by professionals.

Flood Water is Grossly Contaminated

Along with the debris left behind will be contaminations. The building materials, drywall and wood floors, need to be removed from the home while wearing personal protective equipment. An EPA disinfectant should then be used on the cleaned areas to kill the bacteria from the flood water.
