Sewer damage is by far the worst type of damage the can happen from water. There are different categories of water damage and sewer water is considered a Category 3; grossly contaminated water.

Contaminated Water = Demolition

When sewer water comes out of the sinks, toilets, and drains it causes a lot of damage. The contaminated building materials need to be removed from the home and discarded. A disinfectant can then be sprayed down over all the left over materials: wooden studs, cement floors, and nonporous materials. Tile floors are easily cleaned after a black water damage since they don't soak up water. Once everything is cleaned and disinfected we can start the rebuilding process.
